The Queen of Hearts corset top is a patchwork of carefully selected fabrics and adornments, with a heart shaped front and an artfully adorned back. She always features one or more trims and other hand sewn on adornments. 

STRAPS

As for the main shape of your Hostess, there's three different options.

  • Strapless
  • Flowing straps: long pieces of organza tied into ribbons on your shoulders. 
  • Detachable straps: made from a matching fabric, tied at the front and back with organza ribbon. 

PANELS

The Queen of Hearts corset is originally designed to have a straight front and three front panels. If you want an extravagant Queen, opt for the mermaid panels. The Mermaid Queen has 10 front panels and a curvature for your breasts. 

BUTTERFLIES

I use layered lace butterflies with metallic detailing that I purchase from an Etsy seller. I sew these onto the corset with an assortment of beads: pearly white, gold, silver, or whichever bead fits your corset.

If you want butterflies, but detachable from your corset, you can instead buy them as pins or hair pins.  

FRONT ADORNMENT

The Queen of Hearts comes with a cleavage detail. While the pendant looks elegant and delicate, the button knot allows for a deeper plunge in the neckline due to the added structure. 

COLOUR

Tell me which colour or colours you'd like your piece to be. The Queen is available in a single colour, a main colour and secondary colour, or a gradient from one colour into another. If you have a preference, you may also want to specify  colour in terms of warm or cold; bright or desaturated; light or dark. 

E.g. "dark red to light red", "gradient: cool pink to light blue", "main colour brown, secondary colour gold"

EYELET COLOUR

Eyelets are the little metal rings through which the ribbons are strung. I offer four different colours: gold, silver, bronze or anthracite. 

RHINESTONES

The Queen can come with a scattering of rhinestones across the fabric, but you can opt to leave them off should you wish to. 

MEASUREMENTS

For this piece, I need your following measurements. If you need help measuring yourself, you can ask me for help through Instagram or email. 

  1. Bust: the circumference around the fullest part of your breasts. 
  2. Waist: the circumference around the narrowest part of your waist. 
  3. Armpit to waist: the length from your armpit down to your waist. 
  4. Shoulder to armpit*: the length from your shoulder down to your armpit. 

E.g, "1. 90cm 2. 70cm 3. 22cm 4. 16cm"

*If you're ordering a strapless or flowy straps corset, you can leave out the last measurement.
